FDM (fused deposed Modeling) by China Prototyping Center
We offer FDM ( an additive manufacturing technology) for onemade off mock-ups or (very) low volume quantity production for your custom designed plastic parts..
what is possible with FDM?
We can make your parts by fused deposit modeling. This is a technology using an extruder that can move in 3 direction by a numerically controlled mechanism (x,y,x) directly controlled by a computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software package. to create your model.
The nozzle is heated to melt the ABS 3d part is produced by extruding small beads of thermoplastic material to form layers as the material hardens immediately after extrusion from the nozzle. Stepper motors or servo motors are typically employed to move the extrusion head.
WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF rapid Prototyping using FDM ?
The main advantages is a quicker lead time compared to conventional CNC machining.
